| Introduction | I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. Once I complete this, I will start teaching. One of my favorite quotes is... "A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, touches a heart." I have always had a passion for teaching for as long as I can remember. Being able to impact a child's life is, in my opinion, one of the most special privileges anyone can be given. Teaching is about uncovering to a student all the talents that he or she possesses. It is about learning with each other and from each other. Most importantly, teaching is a dedicated commitment made to each child within the classroom to provide them with support, guidance, and encouragement so that each child has the capacity to flourish. The blogs you will find here pertain to education, with a specific focus on incorporating technology into the classroom. Technology has had such an impact on education as a whole, and through my blogs you will see how it has benefited both teachers and students alike. | Interests | These are a few of my favorite things... I am a huge sports fan! I love watching sports, especially basketball and baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals are my all-time favorite sports team. I am also a big Boston Celtics/Orlando Magic fan, and love to play basketball in my free time! I am a huge Disney fan, I absolutely love it there! I also enjoy drawing, reading, and going to the movies. My favorite television show is Wheel of Fortune…I hope to spin that wheel one day! |
