Introduction I've taught high school science for 28 years. I worked for many years as a commercial sea worm digger, fish cleaner, and naturalist for my family’s deep sea fishing and whale watch business. I’ve worked the past five summers and am working this summer as a mate on a lobster and island tour boat out of Rye, NH.

Awards: 2007-Recipient of the New Hampshire Biology Teacher of the Year award 2005-Selected by NOAA to christen the Henry B. Bigelow 2005-Recipient of the National Marine Educators’ Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. 2000-Recipient of the secondary science Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching in Mathematics and Science for the state of New Hampshire. 1997-Recipient of the NH Environmental Steward Award for Commitment to the NH Coastal Cleanup 1980-Recipient of NH Electric Company Teacher of the Year
