|Introduction||Life so far has taken me down some interesting roads. I grew up in Indiana, moved down to Texas to go to college at Abilene Christian University, and just recently graduated and am now living in Chicago, IL. While at ACU, I met some great friends and became a part of an organic network of communities. In graduate school, I became a part of a missions residency program that trained me in the simple, but profound roles of a missionary in a postmodern, post-Christian North America. I work with a church planting organization called the Chicago District Evangelistic Association. For several years, CDEA had been looking for an organic church planter to do mission work in the city, which was exactly what we had dreamt of doing. It's great when God creates those moments of clarity! Alongside church planting work, I also work part time at an Italian restaurant here in the area. It's a great chance to meet those searching and to be salt and light in tangible/humble ways. I love to read (here's my library), I love web development, cartooning, running, biking, baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, ecology, politics, spoken word poetry, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!|
