Introduction Mission Statement: With heart and enthusiasm, KindTree - Autism Rocks, an all volunteer organization, promotes activities to enhance the lives of persons with Autism. · Develop the potential of artists with autism through scholarships, production assistance, promotion, and profit sharing. KindTree - Autism Rocks sponsors artists with autism, collects and exhibits their works at a variety of venues, the most notable being the annual exhibition, “Autism Artism”. KindTree - Autism Rocks publishes and distributes paintings by its artists in the form of original greeting cards. Other displays are arranged as opportunities become available. · Recreational activities seek to promote communitas, a sense of inclusion while having fun. The annual autism camp is the core and founding activity of KindTree - Autism Rocks. Seasonal events, such as the October Mask Making Party, are held as appropriate. All seek to be fun and instill positive attitudes regarding the experience of autism, as championed by the phrase “Autism Rocks!”

Favorite Movies · Create Community for people with autism and those who support them. KindTree - Autism Rocks’ endeavors seek to instill a true sense of self through the support of a caring and understanding community, through the power of respect and honor for an individual with their own voice in their own lives. To achieve this end, KindTree - Autism Rocks produces talent shows, community news publications, living skills supports and more. All activities of KindTree - Autism Rocks, including art, shows, sales, and recreational activities, are planned to raise awareness and understanding of autism in the wider community.
Favorite Music Programs: Camp / Retreat – Annual family oriented weekend event at Baker Boy Scout Camp on Siltcoos Lake. Serving 140 guests with 75 volunteers. Since 1997. Art Program – Soliciting art by people with autism for display, sales, and promotion. Awareness building, confidence building, income producing - improving quality of life for artists with autism. Since 1999. Peer Support Group – Adults get together monthly to share challenges and successes. Since 2000.
Favorite Books Community Outreach and Education – Thrice yearly paper newsletter, monthly e-news, extensive website, annual Autism Celebration, social fun-raisers, more.

Consulting – KindTree - Autism Rocks is available to provide consulting services to organizations establishing recreational opportunities for people with autism. Community Center Project - We are working to make an Autism Community Center a reality, with art classes, computer classes, chill space, gallery space, storage space, office space.
