| Introduction | I am originally from a small town in Northern Ontario called White River. I am a Native Canadian and while I never lived there, I belong to the Pic Mobert First Nation (Ojibway). I own my company called Neegan Seewin. I am contracted as Aboriginal Advisor to the Canadian Defence Academy and the Royal Military College of Canada. I also do work in Canada's federal prisons namely in the area of substance abuse with Aboriginal male offenders. I'm also a bit of an artist and a somewhat mediocre guitar player. I just finished writing my autobiography called "Out of Step" about my 26 years I served in the Canadian Forces. The manuscript has been edited and there some discussion that it may be published by Canadian Defence Academy Press as part of series of stories about Aboriginal people who served in Canada's forces and then returned to community. |
