Introduction | Kissed A Farmer will follow Daniel & Suzie Wilde, dryland cotton farmers in West Central Texas, as they grow cotton without any irrigation on the edge of the Chihuahuan Desert. |
Interests | Raised in Ackerly, Texas, I am the oldest daughter of a second generation Cotton Ginner. I have worked as a Cotton Gin Office Manager, Cotton Merchant Agent, Cotton Warehouse Clerk, and a Licensed USDA Cotton Classer. I studied Biochemistry at Texas Tech University and Organic Chemistry at the University of Texas El Paso and have an Associate of Computer Science Degree from the University of Maryland. I have been a crop insurance agent for 20 years and now have my own agency, Oasis Crop Insurance. I have been married to Daniel for 7 years. I have one son and Daniel has two daughters, two sons, five grandchildren and one on the way. We farm 700 acres of mostly cotton in Runnels county. Besides being a farmer kisser, I am an avid scuba diver and amateur underwater photographer, I love to quilt and scrapbook, we enjoy ballroom dancing, and we are both serious football fanatics |
