Introduction	I am 39 yrs old, practiced in the art of Counseling, studied in the practice of life, passionate about all that live. My body is in an East Coast city but my heart is in a western valley. I started this blog because Facebook alone was not allowing me to reach those who might best challenge and/or appreciate my ideas and those who might challenge and/or collaborate to help me create new ideas. Every day I wonder if it's the end of human civilization as we know it. And every night I realize that yes, the day was indeed a total re-write of human civilization as we know it. These are indeed "interesting times," and I've made the most of them. My experiences have left me sated, and my goals in life are no longer hedonistic but altruistic. A zoology class in my early twenties, (which I got an A in,) informed me that "god" is in everything, and there are far more amazing creations on this planet than humans. We are a narcissistic species which I often feel embarrassed to be a part of. My dog and two cats bring me humor. Gardening keeps me connected to the sacred.
