Introduction I am a 50 something chocoholic, comfort eater who is a little overweight - current BMI is 26.3 The problem I have is I don't like dieting and until about three years ago was a healthy weight, ate what I wanted and took normal exercise: regular walking, occasional swimming, etc. Then the menopause hit, I slipped a disk in my back and the bunions on my feet have become more painful preventing me from walking too far. My answer to all this has been to comfort eat and I am 22lbs heavier and dissatisfied with the way I look but don't want to DIET! Diet is a dirty word to me: They don't work... My husband is a wonderful cook and I love chocolate and red wine - so is there any hope???? My mission? To find a way of losing weight without having to resort to fad diets.
