| Introduction | Deborah Riven Ramsey is an environmental consultant and real estate agent who spends most of her spare time cooking and baking. Her focus has always been on healthy eating, incorporating fresh whole foods into all her dishes, whether at home in Barbados or in her native Montreal. Crumbs Homemade was developed as a way of sharing wholesome home-baked goods and other healthy dishes with the people and visitors of Barbados. Deborah Ramsey and Julie Riven, sisters from Montreal, started Crumbs Homemade in Barbados in 2009 with recipes passed down from their mother, Ghita, as well as other recipes that they adapted to complement a more healthy lifestyle. Crumbs Homemade products are baked with whole wheat or spelt flour, pure Barbados brown cane sugar, and fresh whole foods. They include Tea Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Squares, Muffins, and Scones. |
