| Introduction | Im a just a dude who loves art. In general Im interested in almost everything and this blog is a dedication to that love. A place to share my most recent, paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Both digital and traditional, for whomever takes an interest. Ive been a mostly self-taught traditional artist of almost all mediums for most of my life and a digital artist for the last few years. Im deeply affected and inspired by nature, culture, history, music, travel, food, film, and the Southern California/LA lifestyle I've grown up with and developed my tastes and style in. I resisted the idea of art as a career until only a few years ago. I spent 8 years studying art history, architecture, liberal arts, and general science while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with life. As a kid I always wanted to be a cinematographer or an ecologist or a chef. A year ago I completed my third year at Gnomon School of Visual Effects (http://www.gnomonschool.com/) an amazing school in Hollywood. I'm focusing on art direction right now on projects like music videos and photoshoots. I'd like to move into larger projects soon |
