| Introduction | wife, mother, grandmother I'm a self-taught tatter. It was a craft I knew my grandmother had done and I wanted to do it. She taught me several crafts but not tatting because she no longer did it. From her I learned quilt piecing by hand, crochet, embroidery and sewing. I did not begin making quilts on my own until after her death. I feel fortunate to have some of her quilts. Now I get much enjoyment in making quilts for myself and others. |
