| Introduction | DN Journal Publishing Services offers journal development, editorial consultancy and training to publishers, researchers and the wider scholarly publishing community. I am commissioned to review the technical infrastructure, editorial workflows and standards of individual journals, or work across portfolios of titles. My work helps clients identify practices, behaviours, systems and technologies that may benefit from development or change. I create development plans that analyse individual journals, or portfolios, investigating the performance and position to address limitations and bolster strengths, detailing expected results and the steps required to achieve them, including quantitative and qualitative checkpoints to ensure progress is being made. In addition to consultancy, I am Vice-President of the European Association of Science Editors. |
