I've been involved in Florida's space efforts since the late 1980s when I served as a space industry economist in the Florida Department of Commerce. I left Tallahassee in 1990 to help establish the Spaceport Florida Authority as the nation's first space transportation authority (click HERE for a short history). I left SFA in 2001 to become the Director of Policy & Program Development at the Florida Space Research Institute until FSRI was dissolved to make way for Space Florida in 2006.
After FSRI I joined Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, serving nearly eight years as a Space Policy Analyst and Director of Aerospace Development. I currently am an aerospace analyst and business development professional on Florida's Space Coast.
