Introduction | Jim Davidson is a life-long comic fan (from the age of 6), with a sizable collection of old and rare golden and silver age comic books and an avid interest in the history of the medium. He’s the founder and past president of the National Association for the Advancement of Perry Mason and former publisher/editor of the periodicals NAAPM Newsletter and Classic TV. He has appeared on TV in Showtime’s The Case of the Courtroom Legends and was co-producer of the Perry Mason 50th Anniversary Edition DVD set from CBS-Paramount. He's the author of The Perry Mason Book: A Comprehensive Guide to America's Favorite Defender of Justice and maintains the website classictvinfo.com, devoted to TV history. Jim is an alumnus of the New England Conservatory of Music and has played at San Francisco Bay Area music venues like The Boarding House, Keystone Korner, and The Great American Music Hall. Currently, he co-leads a group with vocalist Karen Sudjian. For 33 years, Jim worked at The Clorox Company as a database librarian, creating and maintaining websites, databases, and applications. |
