I've been hooked on photography since my high school yearbook teacher, Kihei DeSilva (who taught me how to develop photos in a darkroom) gave me the old, busted up Fujica SLR I'd been using all year - with a note saying I was the only person who could figure out how to get it to work : D I think the main keys to being a good photographer are to truly love people and appreciate the beauty in everyone. I love to photograph kids, grandparents, parents, pets, artists, and people in general. I always strive to give people the nicest photos I can deliver! When you're passionate about taking photographs, you don't just see a moment as a moment. Everything starts to look like a photo. I see these kinds of opportunities all the time, and feel lucky to consider myself a professional photographer.
