Introduction	Music has always been an important part of my life. I grew up listening to my mother teaching piano every day after school, and started my own piano lessons at the age of 5. I took lessons for ten years and then at age 15 I switched from piano lessons to voice lessons, but still played the piano often as I accompanied songs for the show choir that I also performed in. After high school I went to college where I met my husband and got married. A year later I graduated with my bachelors in psychology and my husband and I moved to Chicago so that he could pursue his masters. While in Chicago I gave birth to my son, and two years later i began teaching piano lessons. I instantly fell in love with helping my students understand the complexities of music while at the same time teaching them that we can do hard things, and the personal rewards that come from hard practice. After my husband finished his masters he received a job offer in Cincinnati so we moved to the Green Township/Western Hills area and we love it! I am eager to begin teaching piano again here in Cincinnati, for it truly is one of my passions!
