| Introduction | My name is Erica (Aekyung) Kim. I am an MA student in the Foreign Language Education program at the University of Texas, Austin. Before I came to this beautiful city, I had worked as a principal at a private English academy located in Seoul, Korea for 8 years. My students were elementary and middle school students and it was my great pleasure to see them learn and improve their English everyday. I fell in love with learning a foreign language as it provided me with the precious opportunity to know about its cultures and people. I want to teach English to young students so that they also can grab the window of opportunity to learn various culture and meet people from diverse backgrounds in this globalized world. I like hiking, reading and meeting new people. |
