| Introduction | D. G. Geis writes from the Hill Country of Texas. He holds both an M.A. and a Licentiate in Philosophy as well as a master's degree in Religious Studies. He cheerfully ditched a doctoral thesis on Blaise Pascal when it occurred to him that his doctoral work was neither original nor even particularly interesting. After almost 30 years in the investment business, he retired to a small ranch in central Texas. He has a lifelong interest in ancient philosophy. He is currently a part time instructor of Hellenistic philosophy to adult distance learners at the undergraduate level. |
