| Introduction | Rev Kathy Burton is ordained within the United Church of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church. She served as associate pastor at Virginia-Highland Church in Atlanta and associate pastor at Decatur United Church of Christ in Decatur. She has also served as a hospital and hospice chaplain and chaplain for the South Georgia Migrant Farmworker Health Project. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in English Education, a Master of English Education, an Educational Specialist degree from Georgia State University, and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, with additional studies at Emory’s Candler School of Theology. Kathy moved to Fernandina Beach in May, 2016, with her spouse Cathy Brandt and was called as our pastor in January, 2017. |
