IntroductionWhen it comes to me, there's a lot to know—and yet, not so much at all. I'm a young organist, studying under Dr. Don Moe in Rock Hill, SC. I'm just at the threshold of beginning a career in the organ industry (as an apprentice tuner, but with my sights set on designing and building organs of my own), and I direct music and play at the little countryside First Presbyterian Church in Great Falls. A week ago, all I did was play for the church. My life is finally falling back into order, and this blog is how I plan to catalogue it. I also offer musical services, detailed on my repertoire and service blog (which is still somewhat under construction).
InterestsClassical Music (especially of the 19th and 20th centuries), Music History, The World of Pipe Organs (especially Cassavant; Cavaillé-Coll; and Johannus), Musical Theatre, Linguistics, life sciences, theoretical physics, and the human condition.
Favorite musicCHOPIN, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Bartok, Holst, COPLAND, Karg-Elert, BACH, Rimsky-Korsakov, Reger, WIDOR, and last but very far from least, Eugène GIGOUT!
