| Introduction | Wilma Van Hooft is a person that I would best discribe as a mighty mouse. She has been through great challenges and has met them head on, and with the strength and love from our God and Saviour she has over come them; All the while walking in Humility. She is the oldest of 4 children, a registered Nurse, a single mom of 3 children, and a prayer warrior. She has recently Battled against Breast Cancer, and came out a Victor. However recently on June 9th 2010, mom was diagnosed with Colon cancer added to that on June 14 another tumor was discoverd in her liver. My mom has been an inspiration to others, more then I think she will ever know. She leaned on Jesus,and her closest loved one's and friends, and she took one day at time, I leaned not on her understanding but on that of Christ's that He had a plan for her, not to harm her. She was a strong woman before being diagnosed with cancer, and having beat it, she is a witness to many as a Child of God, that loved, and trusted the God of all things to carry her through, and He did, and although mom is now facing stage 4 cancer mom is leaning on our God, to carry her through, and so must the rest of us as well. |
