Introduction	I can’t come to write about myself in third person. I’m Katie, currently studying photojournalism with a minor in German at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. I grew up in Louisville, Ky. but I don’t like to limit myself within the bounds of states boarders. I love to travel. I have been fortunate enough to see Germany, Austria, Spain and the Czech Republic beyond my own country, and I’m not done yet. Photography is a ticket to the world. You can go anywhere and do anything if you set your mind to it and work hard. I love photojournalism, although my heart lies with portraiture, editorial and commercial photography. If I can find a way to incorporate the two, then we have a winning image. I find my inspiration in photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Martin Schoeller, Richard Avedon, Jeremy Cowart, David LaChapelle and Eugenio Recuenco. Besides photos, I’m an electronic dance music fan and love learning new performance arts. I am currently available for freelance, portrait and event work throughout Kentucky, southern Indiana and northern Tennessee.
