| Introduction | I studied ceramics & window display, 3D design & interior design. Traumatic family life events occured during my young years. Divorcing parents, a very sick mum & parents re-marriages. My mum passed from breast cancer in July 1986. She was just 46 years old, I was just 19. My mum's second husband was an alcoholic, who she finally divorced. My dad's second wife passed from ovarian cancer. After struggling for years with my own worthiness,belonging,failing, I am now able to be my own friend. I have a wonderful husband & two amazing daughters. My dad passed in December 2011 from Esophagal Cancer. In January 2012 I experienced total exhaustion & clinical depression. With medication, family therapy, individual therapy, reading, researching I am now ready for some changes. To become self nurturing and accepting of who I am. This is where you all find me today. It is ongoing and I am grateful to see a future for myself. My eldest daughter was finally diagnosed with Aspergers in Oct 2013. My youngest daughter has been diagnosed with ASD & high anxiety in April 2015. |
