| Introduction | The Confucius Institute at the University of Pittsburgh is a non-profit language and culture center dedicated to enhancing global understanding of China and the Chinese language. Our mission is to create a bridge for citizens of China and the U.S. to better understand one another. Through a comprehensive Chinese guest-teacher program, CI-Pitt supports k-12 and college language classes throughout Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
