| Introduction | I am a 40-something woman, sharing life with my partner, Kyle Anne Bates, and our family of way too many animals. I am in my senior year at Linfield College, and looking forward to doing graduate work in Cultural Anthropology. I'm interested in politics, art, sexuality, music, ecology, conflict, peace,economics,science,spirituality and the amazing variety of ways humans do culture. My political opinions are bright green and list strongly to the left, but I am a devout believer in pluralism, democracy, consensus building, and, above all, inclusiveness. Oh, and I'm a kick-ass vegetarian cook! This blog is my self indulgent little corner of the web to ponder and explore these ideas. |
