Introduction	Shobana Gomes is a Malaysian award-winning author and poet known for her creative works, particularly in poetry and literature. Shobana's writing journey began with keeping diaries in school. At a young age, she was inspired by the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen. Her dad bought her a set of Encylopedia Britannica which incorporated the tales of Hans Christian Andersen that fuelled her imagination.She read books by Stephen King and the Mill & Boons series were among the favourites on her bookshelves. Later, she delved into the poetry of Robert Frost, Maya Angelou, and read Shakespeare. Her writing delves into nature, love, life, and beauty. Her travels have also played a significant role in shaping her work, providing diverse perspectives and inspiration. You can subscribe to her content on YouTube as she continues to change the world with her love for poetry and stories.
Interests	reading, writing, poetry, and a host of other things, some interesting and some not. Plus, Music!!
Favorite Movies	I confess! I am into romantic comedies. When Harry met Sally, Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, The Runaway Bride, The Bodyguard, and all of Sandra Bullock's films.
Favorite Music	R & B, Ballads, Jazz and Rock music, Pop, I am not sure how the rest is classified but yes, I like them anyway! Music heals my soul!
Favorite Books	Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth - Shakespeare, The Everyday Hero Manifesto, The 5 AM Club, Who Will Cry When You die, The Monk who sold his Ferrari - Robin Sharma, Men are from Mars and Women from Venus - John Gray, The French Lieutenant's Woman - John Fowles, To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee, Hans Christian Andersens' magical stories, The Legendary Jose Marti's Golden Fables.
