Custom furniture is an ultimate expression of a person's taste. Adam Gwin meets with clients and collects facts to come to an understanding of what is needed and desired, and works with them to deliver products that are both functional and beautiful. All furniture is hand made with old world craftsmanship and finished with French polished shellac. A smooth glass-like finish is essential to fine furniture, and once such a finish is achieved, it is then waxed to give it a luster that brings out all of the warm tones of the wood. Whether it is a country table made of cypress, or a high-style Hepplewhite china press veneered in flame mahogany crossbanded in satinwood with doors fitted with period glass, the work of Adam Gwin is sure to be quality you will be proud to own. |
