| Introduction | Married to a great woman, I have two Nikon DSLR cameras--D 3100, D 5100 with a compliment of lenses and flashes, and several compact cameras ,two certificates in Photography--New York Institute of Photography; I earned a BA Grinnell College, MA and Ed S from the University of Iowa,and MFA creative writing from Colorado State University. I write poetry, and make pictures. We have one daughter. Our life is good--not complicated. I volunteered at Avera McKinnon Hospital, and now at Active Generations leading a creative writing group and working om the coffee shop. I've been a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness since 2005, volunteered with NAMI since 2007. I've meditated since 2011, attend All Souls Church. I've been clean and sober since July 22, 1987. |
