| Introduction | Hi there, and welcome to Crafting A Beautiful Life. I'm an artist, crafter and mom of three boys, living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Let me say right off the bat: Martha Stewart I am not. But one way I maintain a modicum of personal sanity (which is constantly being threatened by my kids throwing potatoes at my head, road rage, politics in America or just the average bad day) is by making stuff. To that end I have an Etsy shop, on which I sell kinda funny tote bags. But I'm also striving to incorporate the handmade more and more into my everyday life, which helps keeps the creative spirit flowing, and also keep me at an arm's length from a consumer culture that I find myself constantly working to extricate myself and my children from.
