| Introduction | E Sheffield grew up in the Leatherstocking region of upstate New York. Since then, she's lived on both coasts of the United States and inbetween, and also in Northern Cyprus and Germany, where she was a Fulbright Lecturer in 1999/2000. She has published two books, a novel (Gone, FC2, 2003) and a critical monograph on James Joyce, post structuralist and feminist theory (Joyce's Abandoned Female Costumes, Gratefully Received, Fairleigh Dickinson, 1998), and was an editor of the second volume of Chick Lit (1995). Her short fiction has appeared in such venues as Pretext, Gargoyle, The Denver Quarterly, and 13th Moon, as well as the first voume of Chick Lit. Currently she is living in Denver, Colorado, teaching in the creative writing program at CU Boulder and trying very hard to finish her second novel. |
