Introduction A graduate of Vermont College of Fine Arts; my postgraduate teaching experiences include literature, writing, poetry, critical thinking, and English as a second language. My short stories, essays, and poems have appeared in both print and online journals; "The Barefoot Review," "Whistling Fire," "Whiskey Island," "Cafe Review," "Upstreet II," "Willows Wept Review" and others. When I can; I travel to sacred and exotic places to learn about and participate in retreats designed to generate creative work. I maintain this blog of my writing and photography and a shadow blog (there’s a link on this page somewhere...). I spend winters in New England and retreat in the summertime to Cottage Lane in Southwestern Pennsylvania. I enjoy painting, photography, yoga, travelling and spending time with my husband and blended family of six adult and young adult children.
