Introduction | As we grow older, we look back at ourselves and laugh at the naive people we used to be. When I re-read the description of myself that I had put up earlier, I did just that. How innocent was I, to believe that I will either be loved or hated. I have since realised there is a vast chasm between the two emotions, and most of humanity's emotions lie in this valley. We can easily love a person and dislike their flaws, or hate a person yet find aspects of them noble and likeable. So I will leave it to you to decide whether you like me, hate me, or, like the vast bulk of humanity, just can't make up your mind! |
