Introduction All my life I was very intrigued by fashion. I would always try to keep up with trends by looking at what kind of styles were in. It was not until 2 years ago that I decided to actually pursue a career in Fashion. I was attending a private University and one of my friends had a unisex -T-shirt line and I was very interested in working with him, just because I always spent lots of money on T-shirts. So if I could make a line and incorporate my style I wouldn't have to spend all that much money anymore on couture tees. Thats what I thought. But that did not work so well because I was more interested in making it work then he was. Plus I was more focus on making designs then actually doing homework. So in that case, I left that school and transfered to a Junior College that offered Fashion Design courses and thats what I am currently doing. My main goal is to start a mens couture line, but attending fashion school Ive been doing a few dresses with really attract my attention. Who knows what the future holds for me but I know that this industry is the one I want to be in.
Interests Fashion, Nightlife, Music, Sewing and motorsports.
Favorite Movies BILLY ELLIOT ( Just because you are interested in something that is usually done by girls does not make you a poff and follow your dreams!!!), blow, Rashomon, North By Northwest, Raging Bull, Mean Streets, Do The Right Thing, Breathless, Double Indemnity, Lots of Hitchcook films and italian cinema.
Favorite Music Matt and Kim. Death Cab. I really have all kinds of music on my laptop an Ipod anywhere from Indian music(which I dont understand) to spanish, rock, house, trence!!!!!, and a little bit of rap just a little. OH and The Smiths and Weezer, Velvet Underground and Simon&Gerfunkel!They really get me going.
Favorite Books face the fear and do with it. something like that. Survival guide for a Fashion Designer, my fashion textbooks, confessions of a economic hit-man, rich dad poor dad (what a surprise), fashion encyclopedia, female chauvinist pigs lol, I had fun arguing in that class defending my gender, globalization and fashion mags.
