| Introduction | I've been here in the Nanaimo area since 1986 when I accepted a job at Overwaitea Foods (Save-on). My most recent employment for the past nine years was with VMAC in south Nanaimo. I was originally from the Comox Valley (Mission Hill area). As a young man I always had a facination for photography and even developed my own contact prints during the era of film and darkrooms. I have been birding most of my life but have only been actively photographing birds for around 5 years. I run all Canon digital photography equipment and use mostly long L series prime lenses for my bird photos. This BLOG is intended as a supplement to my picture galleries at www.larges.ca |
