About me

Introduction I started out working in New York, Paris and London taking fashion photos, scouting for a model agency in London and generally hanging out with people a lot better looking than me. I got a first class degree in Photography, then did my Masters Degree and ended up working for five years as a lecturer in photography. I now run my own photography business. I do advertising, product, editorial, music, PR, some fashion work and I've won the Fujifilm National Award. I'm a workaholic, but if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life. I also rock climb and I've done many first ascents up to E8. I've climbed all around the world and I'm good at taking the tops off bottles. I'm slowly but surely in the process of making a book about climbing in Northumberland. I used to be the singer in North East Metal Legends 'XLR8R'. We put an album out and toured all over the UK and Europe. I've been in all the music mags and appeared on 'MTV'. All the usual rock 'n' roll stuff. My fondest memory was playing a sold out gig at The Mayfair in Newcastle and having 2000 people singing one of my songs. Those were the days!
