Introduction | Tony C. Aguilar is a preacher, author and entrepreneur. Born and raised in the South Bronx, New York City, he preaches on a regular basis at Flatbush Church of the Redeemer in Brooklyn New York. Having served in the private,faith based and civic sectors, he brings a unique perspective to the public square. As a community organizer, he was involved in issues of affordable housing, voter registration, economic development, and living wage legislation. As host of his own radio show on WEVD in New York City, he interviewed guests on issues ranging from feminism to religion. He produced and hosted "One on One" a cable talk show about current events. He founded the Urban Leaders Institute a congregational leaders training conference. In 2011, he created The Detective Channel, an internet channel which features mystery, detective, suspense and crime drama radio and movie broadcasts from the 1930’s 40’s 50’s and 60’s. He is the author of The Latter Glory: A Season of Purpose, Passion and Possibilities and Prosperity Its About Politics. He is presently writing his third book “When Salt Loses its Savor: The New Pharisees” |
