| Introduction | I work in education, having a Ph.D. in Developmental and Educational Psychology. The health and welfare of the children of the world is what I care most deeply about, second only to the love of my son. At 50, I have lived long enough to have gained a deep sense of what is truly most meaningful in this world; and how we treat each other tops the list. Given that children have no choice in how they are treated, they need me - us - to speak up for them, and to have the courage to step up in their defense. |
