| Introduction | I spent the first half of my adult life involved in the restaurant business on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. My career ended after a 10 year run as an Executive Chef in some of the top restaurants on the Cape. During my tenure the restaurants where I worked were highlighted in Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Cande Nast Traveller, New York Times, Boston Globe and others. I am also a commercial shellfisherman, raising clams and oysters in Wellfleet Harbor. The shellfish I raise are sold through the Wellfleet Shellfish Company, a fisherman owned cooperative dedicated to growing clams and oysters using traditional techniques for planting and harvesting paired with modern "wet storage" techniques to ensure clean, fresh and healthy products. I am proud and fortunate to be one of the owners of the co-op. |
