| Introduction | I moved to Chamonix in November 09 to Climb after spending all my life in Scotland doing a fair amount of Scottish Winter Climbing. I love Scotland but as we all know when the weather is good then its great but when its bad its awful and I am afraid its just too bad too much for what I do but I still love my trips home. Chamonix has shifted my attention to Skiing and lots of Running.I still love to get out in the Mountains Climbing and still like to go around doing the classic mid grade stuff in the Mont Blanc Massif. I'm in absolutely no way a great climber , runner or skier but as long as I can stay average across my chosen hobbies and can have a laugh then thats good with me. This blog was started as report on my training towards the CCC ultra that was in August 2012 but having finished the race I have decided to keep it going for anyone interested to see what I have been getting up to. The blog was a great training aid for me to look back over and after having completed the Leadville 100 I really don't want to stop sharing my running and other antics. |
