| Esittely | The girl beneath the geek costume is a 23-year-old R&D engineer by profession, but is now working on OS support, where there really isn't that much R&D involved. She is currently slaving away in Japan on assignment for the same reason many Filipinos work abroad. Meanwhile, she also tries to get the most out of living in a foreign country - like doing something new, crazy and unusual every weekend if possible. After nearly 2 years in the land of the rising sun, the girl fears she may be turning Japanese in some aspects - the passion for fashion can get to some people, Japanese traditions are a way of life here, and it really is just too much of a hassle on one's part not to learn the language. However, her heart still belongs to good ol' Philippines and misses all that it has to offer - the people, the food, the beaches, the music they call OPM (but actually has some revivals of foreign songs), and the freedom of singing one's heart out in public without other people caring if you're in tune or not. |
