| Introduction | As a child my mother let my sister and I help cook with her: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Growing up I started to venture out on my own and in high school I started cooking and baking more. It wasn’t until I came home from Army basic training that I found my love of cooking and baking. Now that John and I have our own place together, I cook dinner almost every night and breakfast on the weekends (if he's home) I bake at least twice a week. John has claimed the kitchen my territory. He also says," Samantha, your baking addiction is more expensive than my coffee addiction!" and he drinks a lot of coffee. I’d say I’ve turned into quite the house wife and that makes me happy. All in all, baking has become my passion and as my blog says "Love From the Kitchen" for my love of food and baking. |
