Introduction	My name is Angela M. Calvin, born in Manhattan New York, May 23, 1974. I am the oldest of two. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism and Communications from New Mexico State University and my minor in Spanish. I went on and completed a Masters in Business Management later in life from University of Redlands in 2013. I have lived all over the Tri- States, New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey to name a few places, I have also resided as well in the southwest in Albuquerque for 12 years. California is now my home for some years and counting. I am a dancer and dance instructor. I currently dance with Bomba Liberte, an afro Puerto Rican folkloric dance group. Mixing up the creative flow, I also currently dance with Roots Dance Theatre a choreographer's collective. It is a merging of artists from different paths that acknowledge the same root source, yet honor how distinctly each of our styles has manifested according to where it developed geographically on the planet.. this creating a powerful fusion.
