Introduction	I am a college administrator and teacher. I have worked at Austin Community College since 1978. I have published poems in a variety of journals and anthologies. I have authored/edited two college textbooks, two books concerned with Texas literature and writers, and four volumes of poems. In addition, I was a founder, editor, and publisher of MAN! Magazine. Beginning in August, 2013, my wife, two younger sons, and I will set off in a 34 foot long 5th wheel trailer. I have a wonderful older son, who has a life of his own now and will not be able to join us, except on special occasions. In addition, my wife's father will most likely drop in and out on our travels. We hope and plan to be on the road for twelve months. The plan is to see America, at least passing through, however quickly sometimes, the first 48 states.
