| Introduction | Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Started throwing parties in lofts & beauty shops in 1976 and became one of the reknown promoters of parties and events for Black Gay Men in New York City. He has since promoted parties at South Oxford Club, Roxy, Twilo, Brooklyn Cafe, Langtson Lounge, Casey's Cafe, Irving Plaza, Palladium and others. In 1986, he brought Black Pride to the City of New York by forming a coalition with other non-profits to begin an annual celebration that has grown bigger each year. Currently Saunders is promoting out of town trips to exotic locations. He has a weekend Friday night at the Octagon. His annual White Party Moonlight Cruise brings brothers and sisters, "in the life" from all over the country to New York for parties and fun. |
