| Introduction | I am a 50 something retired lady living in The Algarve with my husband who is a representative for a travel company. We have been married for 39 years and have three Sons, one grandaughter and one grandson. This blog is about 3 fabulous weeks spent travelling Route 66 from Chicago to L.A with my husband and two of our dear friends on our millenium trip of a lifetime. |
| Interests | I like to read, go to the cinema and mess around on my laptop. I also have a fondness for cooking and love giving dinner parties. I am also a dab-hand (even if I do say so myself) at home furnishings, dressmaking, cross-stitching and all things needlecraft related. I also have a passion for painting and decorating. |
| Favorite movies | My favourite movie of all time is 'Meet Joe Black', I am also a fan of Tom Hanks, Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan. I loved Dirty Dancing and thought Sixth Sense was a brilliant film. My tastes are pretty random but I do not like violent film with lots of blood. |
