| Introduction | Hi and thanks for stopping by. When my eldest son was 6 months old my wife and I living in Astoria, New York City at the time both were working and had a nanny. We gave the nanny instructions and they were rarely carried out. My salary was putting us in a higher tax bracket and adding the money we paid the nanny this wasn't making sense. So we decided I'd stay home and raise our son. Then one more son. It's been 9 and half years and we don't regret it. It's very expensive and many sacrifices had to be made. It's stressful and tiring however our sons for most of their lives my wife and I have been with them ALL day; except of course when they're in school. This blog is a way for me to share my experience, strength and hope. After 9 years here is what was learned and what works. Look forward to hearing what you think! |
