| Introduction | I was instructed in TM in 1971, attended a one-month course in 1972, became a TM teacher in 1974, lived at an Academy for the Science of Creative Intelligence in 1975-76, learned the TM-Sidhis in 1979, lived at Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa for 1.5 years (from 1979-81), and then left the TM movement. I have spent the last 27 years recovering from TM, through voluntary exit counseling, therapy, former cult members support group, anti-cult conferences, and lots of reading and conversations. |
