| Introduction | Everyone faces adversity. For some it is a lifetime, for others it is a season. I've walked through physical adversity, with God's grace, for the majority of my life undergoing 13 surgeries to date. Both hips were replaced when I was twenty-three. Since 1990, three additional hip revision surgeries occurred. In 2008, both ankles were replaced through four separate surgeries in March, June, September and December. In 2016, I had ankle revision surgery to replace the right ankle. In 2017, two stents we inserted into my left anterior artery as it was 99% blocked. In April, my left knee was replaced. In August, I had ankle revision surgery to replace the left ankle. My hope rests in a bedrock personal relationship in Jesus Christ.
