| Introduction | I was born in Alaska and I was raised there for most of my life. During the summer of 2008 I had gotten my first well paying job and experiencing the thrill of independence. Only a few weeks later I was let go from that job because of the bad economy. Rather than resign myself to a fate of low paying and dead end jobs I decided to take my fate into my own hands. I bought some camping gear, caught a plan to Seattle, WA and started riding my bicycle to Washington D.C. I spend a lot of my time researching and thinking of ways that we might be able to lift our country out of the hole we dug for ourselves. |
