| Introduction | I am a small-town, mountain girl who loves simple things like walks in the woods, good food, and front porch conversations on a summer evening. Usually, I would rather be in a small town where everyone knows everyone else and a secret can't be kept no matter how hard you try. But I find myself adventuring farther and farther from home for the next few years - satisfying that itch for adventure that has always competed with my desire for the close-knit comfort of smaller places and staying for a while. So I find myself in the Chicago area for the next few years, working on a Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and working with college students through Cru - the greatest job EVER. Maybe I can find some elements of the small town community in this big city - it'll definitely be a great adventure! |
